Recover or not to recover?

Here is the chair I adore!!! Original old paintwork and blue faded silk.





Divine swags and ribbons and I know I shouldn`t bring things home that cannot be posted in a box!!

But hey ho!! It will find a corner here somewhere!

I would quite happily leave it just like this but that may be a tad too far for Mark!! 

To cover or not to cover .....that is the question!

    Lovely just as she is, you have nothing to loose by keeping her au natural for a few years, then have a re think, she is lovely.

    Wow i want her, she is a beauty.
    I buy and sell french furniture, sadly i have to reupholster it all, very few people can see true beauty in old furniture these days, they need it new and shiney and a repaint. Things look good with a revamp, but loose their charm i think.
    Mind you, i bet you have a nice bit of vintage fabric tucked away somewhere that would look good on her.
    Love your style and i always say in my next life i'll come back like you, with a good eye for smaller items. Sadly i only buy items that are going to give me an hurnia or bad back.
