Les Secrets du Style Shabby Chic.............

When I lived in the UK I couldn`t wait to get my hands on Country Living magazine each month. Since living in France I never really found a replacement for my addicition until this recent publication appeared in the tabac......

LES SECRETS DU STYLE SHABBY CHIC

Filled with stunning vintage treasures and ideas...................

............It definitely flicks my switches.................................
Floats my boat.........................
Hits the spot , fuels my addiction and fades my florals......
Twiddles my tassels and plumps up my passementerie...................
Launders my linens..................chuckles my cherubs...
Froths up my fripperies.....................

I have one extra copy this month ( greedy!)  tell me your silly quote for the same idea and I`ll post it to sender of the best answer!! ( Don`t worry if you are not a google  blog member just send it to me via my simply-chateau email address simplychateau@wanadoo.fr  )

  1. 'Fills my steam iron' posted just because that is just what I am doing. Ironing some very nice antique linens too.

  5. ooh la la, the pictures in the magazine are my idea of eye can-candy. Not much of a silly quote but here is a silly question...
As I do not read French, does Johnny Depp come with the magazine to translate the text?

  11. Dear Shirley,
We have a penchant for collecting antique clothing, so our expressions reflect that! It cinches my corset; laces my boots; rattles my chatelaine; curls my ribbons; ruffles my petticoat; twirls my tassels; blossoms my bloomers; starches my crinoline; busts my bustle; beribbons my bonnet; pops my peplum and hulas my hoop skirt! All that thinking has made us hungry so...It butters my croissant & steams my au lait! Last(we promise!!!!!!!!!!), it shutters my chateau!! Thanks for the fun...
